Does the website that is linking back to your website relate to your business? Make sure there is a strong relevance when acquiring backlinks. A company may be able to identify thousands of keywords worth optimizing—but do they have a big enough SEO budget to handle that workload? Make sure your visitors know where to find what they need, and of course, make it simple for them to get back where they started. Off page SEO is a long term and time consuming process. It includes acquiring backlinks to your webpage from the authority sites, Social media and Social bookmarking. Off page factors work in the background to improve the search rankings.

Don’t guess your site speed problems; diagnose

Google counts links from other websites as votes. So, when they’re presented with two (or more) pages on the same topic, the page with the most links (i.e. votes) will usually rank higher than the page(s) with fewer links. Going to the library is nearly a thing of the past, but do you remember asking the librarian to help you find a particular book? Well, that’s basically what a search engine does — they’re our modern-day librarians for the Internet. In our technology-driven world, we depend on search engines like Google®, Bing®, and Yahoo!® to find exactly what we’re looking for in seconds. (Can you imagine putting that kind of time pressure on a real librarian?) Link building has no single technical definition. If you ask me, I would say link building is doing your best to get high quality websites to link to you. However, a more standardized definition would go like this: Link Building involves acquiring hyperlinks from reputed and high quality websites. Essentially, the higher CTR you have, and the more user experience your site receives, the higher the Google rankings.

Give your website a home for all topics

We use keyword research to identify potentially useful queries for which a site is not receiving traffic. Keyword research is often abused by aggressive Web marketers who pursue an endless keyword strategy. Endless Keyword marketing continually adds keyword targets to a Website’s list of desired queries. This leads to an overabundance of content production and production standards suffer. Meta descriptions don’t carry as much value as they used to, but they still have an important role for SEO. Each of your posts should have a unique title and meta description. Make sure all are unique and you don’t have any duplicate ones. SEO-friendly content writing is not just about pandering to your audience with content that is splattered with keywords. Essentially Google needs you to properly communicate what your website is offering to the user and the job of the analysts is to assess what your goal is for your website.

Identify What’s Working and What Isn’t

With the many different resources available for finding keywords people are actually using in their searches, it shouldn’t be too difficult to get through this stage of Search Engine Optimization successfully. Links and more commonly known as backlinks to all SEO marketers are the soul of the Internet when it comes to forming a successful digital campaign. If there is a way for websites to interact with each other and gain benefits out of these transactions it is through backlinks and their version of monetary gain is earning link juice or website authority. Like the real world, the more juice or authority you have, the richer you get. Keep your descriptions under 150 characters to avoid a trail off (…). This shows visitors that you have intentionally put up an informative and helpful description, opposed to the randomly generated one that Google pulls for non-optimised pages. According to SEO Consultant, Gaz Hall: "95% of the U.S. Internet browsing population accesses search engines each month. Furthermore, the U.S. online population makes an average of 37 search engine visits per person per month."

Use multiple focus keywords for those long key phrases

Don't feel obligated to purchase a search engine optimization service. Some companies claim to "guarantee" high ranking for your site in Google's search results. While legitimate consulting firms can improve your site's flow and content, others employ deceptive tactics in an attempt to fool search engines. Think of new ideas to expand your content, or even to invest in evergreen content, and make sure you think like a reader, rather than a search engine. Although Google's search results are provided at a page level, Google also likes to have a sense of what role a page plays in the bigger picture of the site. If you're anything like me, then you're looking to understand why certain things work the way they do.
